## The human in the loop
I started in technology at 18 as a deliberate, non-traditional choice, and it became the center of my life. I learn fastest where things are hardest: a tough technical bottleneck is, for me, a playground.

I have led the migration and modernization of fintech and accounting SaaS platforms, designed backends in NestJS and ASP.NET Core, and shipped fast interfaces with React, Next.js and Astro.

I care about understanding what the business needs and choosing the simplest architecture that solves it. I work across the stack (backends in Java, Kotlin, Go, TypeScript and C#; interfaces in Angular, React and Astro) and pick the tool for the problem, not the other way around. I’m growing into AWS, infrastructure as code and DevOps to build cloud-first.

About

The human in the loop

Education

The foundation behind the work

  • In progress (paused)

    Systems Engineering

    Universidad del Magdalena

    Aug 2019Santa Marta, Colombia

Training focused on the intersection of system logic and enterprise architecture: clean code, microservices and full-stack integration.

Work that shows how I think

2026 · test

efRouting technical test

SpaceX launch visualizer built with Go and Next.js, hexagonal architecture and 100% infrastructure as code.

GoNext.jsTypeScriptPython

efRouting technical test

GoNext.jsTypeScriptPythonAWS CDKDynamoDB

Problem. Visualize SpaceX data through a fast, scalable and reproducible cloud solution.

Approach. A Go service organised with hexagonal principles, an automated Python ETL feeding DynamoDB, ECS Fargate microservices and the entire infrastructure defined with AWS CDK.

Why it matters. It shows end-to-end ownership: domain design, data pipeline, deployment and a typed Next.js client.

IGD Plus

Modular enterprise core with a microkernel-inspired architecture: accounting, credit and operations as isolated modules.

IGD Plus

Sample

TypeScriptReactTailwindASP.NET CoreSQL

Problem. Business management software that had to grow module by module without destabilizing the core.

Approach. The engine is isolated from domain modules (accounting, credits, operations), so each one evolves, ships and fails independently.

Note. Details are intentionally high-level due to confidentiality.

2025 · personal

Neovim dotfiles

A lean, Lua-based Neovim setup built to free RAM for the services I actually run, without giving up a full-stack workflow.

LuaNeovimLSPTreesitter

Neovim dotfiles

LuaNeovimLSPTreesitter

Problem. Heavy IDEs competed with local microservices for memory.

Approach. A modular, keyboard-driven configuration with tuned LSP and Treesitter so Angular templates and embedded CSS still get proper IntelliSense.

Result. A noticeably lighter editor and a deeper understanding of the frameworks I use every day.
